Skipping Classes on College Campus

I don't understand how some university students can expect to learn anything if they skip classes frequently. Personal experience can help people learn about themselves and the world outside the classroom, but when it comes to learning about academic subjects, students need to be in class.
On the one hand, some students regard what they learn from school as crap. Some ambitious students even have tried their hands at launching their own businesses, for the reason that the competition in the job market has become increasingly fierce.
On the other hand, some teachers' classes couldn't have enough intrigue to attract students' interests. So some students would like to skip classes to learn what they are interested in rather than waste time in classes everyday.
In short, it’s not sage to skip classes and give up what you pursued industriously before. By going to class, students learn more than knowledge on the book from the teacher. We can also learn how to learn, how to work with others, and how to work responsibly. So attending classes should not be optional in college.
