摘要：A device comprises an acoustic lens (100) with a variable focal length and means(12) for directing incoming acoustic waves onto the lens. The acoustic lens comprises acurved boundary between two fluid media (1, 2) in which the acoustic waves have differentpropagation velocities. Means (5, 6, 7) are provided for applying a force directly onto oneof the fluid media (1) so as to induce a displacement of the boundary (M1, M2). Sucharrangement of the acoustic lens makes it possible to achieve rapid variations in the focallength.
