摘要：Described and claimed is a thermal imaging system comprising a housing, athermal imaging sensor, a mounting means and a distance meter. The thermal imaging

sensor is adapted to capture a two-dimensional thermal image in the infrared spectralrange. The captured two-dimensional thermal image comprises a plurality of pixels, eachrepresenting a surface section located in the field of view whose surface section isassigned to the respective pixel. The mounting means is adapted for mounting thehousing to a support structure for controllably moving the housing in two rotationaldegrees of freedom. The distance meter is adapted for determining the distance to atleast one spot. The system is adapted to assign the distance determined by the distancemeter for the at least one spot to one or a plurality of pixels of the thermal imagecaptured by the thermal imaging sensor representing a surface section or a plurality ofsurface sections overlapping with the at least one spot. Further, a method for creating athermal image is described and claimed.
