摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring-use light-receiving elementintegration type light-emitting device which makes possible to readily provide anoxidization constriction layer unlike a monitoring-use light-receiving element which isdisposed so as to surround a surface emitting laser.SOLUTION: A light-emitting devicecomprises: a first mesa structure M1 having a light-emitting part; a second mesastructure M2 connected to the first mesa structure M1 by a common semiconductorlayer, and having a light-receiving part for receiving light coming from the light-emittingpart through the semiconductor layer in a crosswise direction; a detector part fordetecting a light quantity of light received by the light-receiving part; and an oxidizationconstriction layer provided athwart both of the first mesa structure M1 and the secondmesa structure M2, and including an oxidation region 32b and non-oxidation region32a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
