Thank you very much for choosing to come in such a afternoon.Today my topic is about the difference between American and Chinese characters.
The first difference I think is the view of time. Like our textbook says, Americans believe no one stands still.If you don’t move ahead,you will fall behind. Almost every American wears a watch, and, in nearly every room in an American home, there's a clock.It’s a precious resource for them.They want every minute to count.
Meanwhile,as to us Chinese,sometimes we are impatient.For
example:Chinese style road crossing. But sometimes,we can be very patient. we can spend even a whole day to buy an iphone. People in some places enjoy the slow pace of life.
Then, what I have to say is that the American children is more independent than Chinese children.When in their childhood,the American children will do some things by themselves,such as washing simple clothes,make the bad.whereas in China,parents will do them instead.
Last,we can see in many foreign movies that Americans are more open than Chinese.On the other hand,Chinese are more modest.so,we are more steady,responsible and competent.
Though they are many differences between American and Chinese,love, peace and happiness have no differences.
