摘要：A digital image is compressed by determining a composite color number foreach pixel in a digital image represented by a plurality of pixels in a first color space. Afirst set of color values are extracted from the determined composite color numbers.The first set of color values are then compacted into a second set of color valuesaccording to a predetermined encoding algorithm. A quantity of color values in thesecond set of color values is smaller than a quantity of color values in the first set ofcolor values. A modified image based on the second set of color values is thengenerated. A transformation algorithm is then applied to the modified image.
