When the battery is charged to 5 V, the battery has an excess ratio of 1or higher that is a ratio of a specific capacity of the cathode to a specific capacity of theanode, and the separator has a thermal shrinkage of 13% or lower. The lithium-ionsecondary battery prevents heat generation in an overcharge state and maintains safety.
