一． 形容词的用法：

1． 修饰名词,放在名词之后;

2． 放在be动词或连系动词(sound,smell,feel,taste; turn,,grow,become; seem,)之后作表语; 3． It’s +adj.+for/of sb +to do sth

4． Adj.放在something,anything,nothing等不定代词之后. 5． adj.+ing指物; adj.+ed指人; 二． 副词的用法:

1. 副词一般是在形容词后加-ly ;有些副词和形容词同形; 2. 副词修饰动词,放在动词之后;副词修饰形容词,放在形容之前; 3. enough + n. adj./adv. +enough

三． 形容词和副词的比较级和最高级：

1. 规则变化: 原级 比较级 最高级

2. 不规则变化: 原级 good/well bad/ badly many/much little far old

四． 用法：

1. 两者之间的比较用比较级,一般情况下在句中出现than或or这些词;三者或三者以上的比较

用最高级,一般情况下在句中出现of或in 这些词,有时最高级或序数词后也用最高级; 2. 比较级前可用much, a little, still, even来修饰作比较; 3. 同级比较: as…+ adj./adv.原级+as 4. 非同级比较:

A. not as +adj./adv.+as eg: Your handwriting is as good as mine.

B.The +比较级，the+比较级: 越…就越…eg: The busier he is,the happier he feels. C.比较级+比较级: 越来越… eg: The days are getting longer and longer. D.数字+times as +adj.+as:是…的几倍eg:This room is four times as large as that one. E. half+as+形容词原级+as ….的一半 eg: Your handwriting is not half as good as hers. F: as…as possible/can 尽可能

G:最高级与比较级的转换: 比较级+ than any other+单数名词
